Lab PC Support Engineer

We are currently looking to hire a Lab PC support engineer to join our Lab IT services at the client site. The engineer will have experience of successfully deploying IT projects in pharmaceutical GxP Lab environments

Main Responsibilities:

• Understand System Requirements
• Design system solution consistent with Gilead Sciences Standards
• Install and Configure Applications per specifications
• Manage platform upgrades
• Author requirements documents (e.g., user, functional)
• Contribute to configuration specifications
• Author server Technical Requirements Specification
• Author / Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Contribute to testing procedures
• Assist with Script Execution
• Author Change Request (CR)
• Procure and build hardware
• Image and deploy systems
• Decommissioning
• Resolve issues escalated by sustain support desk.

Experience required

• Experience working in pharmaceutical QC Lab environment, 2-3 years
• Experience Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and network issues in a GxP and non GxP environment. 3-5 years

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
• Preferred, recent Microsoft, CompTIA or ITIL certifications
